Hello

Hi, I'm Mariam! A chef fueled by passion and a love for all things delicious!

I hold a Culinary Arts certification and have 2 years of professional kitchen experience, but my love for cooking started over 6 years ago. I even started my own cloud kitchen on Zomato, where I served up homestyle meals with a twist — until health challenges made me take a step back.

But stepping back gave me time to reflect, heal, and return to what I truly love: sharing the joy of cooking. Through this website and my YouTube channel, I’m bringing my favorite recipes straight from my kitchen to yours. Whether you're just starting out or already love to cook, I hope to make each dish easy, flavorful, and fun.

Thank you for stopping by — and happy cooking!

My Story

I’m a chef currently based in Bangalore, but my culinary journey began long before — back in Dubai, UAE, where I first fell in love with the joy of cooking. Over the past 6+ years, cooking has been my creative outlet and my comfort zone. In 2024, I moved to Bangalore with a dream to start my cloud kitchen, and that dream came to life as Jinro’s Kitchen on Zomato.

Unfortunately, due to health issues, I had to temporarily close the kitchen. But rather than step away from food, I found a new way to stay connected to what I love. I decided to revive an old passion — blogging and filming recipes — something I had started years ago under the name Veg Wizard. Now, with a fresh start and a new direction, I’ve rebranded everything under Jinro’s Kitchen, carrying forward the spirit of my cloud kitchen into a digital space.

This website and channel are where I share my favourite recipes, a mix of homestyle dishes and creative flavours that inspire me. Whether you're new to cooking or just love good food, I hope Jinro’s Kitchen becomes a space that feeds both your hunger and your heart.

The Story Behind the Name

Jinro’s Kitchen is named in memory of someone very special — my beloved cat, Jinro. He was with me for 10 wonderful years and was more than just a pet — he was my family, my little son, and a constant source of comfort and joy. In March 2024, I lost him, and just a few months later, I moved to Bangalore to start a new chapter with my cloud kitchen. Naming it Jinro’s Kitchen felt like the perfect way to keep his spirit close and honor the love and warmth he brought into my life. Now, through every recipe I share, a little piece of that love lives on.
