These Cheesy Tomato Bites are the perfect blend of creamy, tangy, and refreshing. Juicy cherry tomatoes are halved and filled with a flavorful mix of cream cheese, gherkins, mustard sauce, garlic butter, and a dash of paprika and cumin. The result is a smooth, herby filling that perfectly complements the natural sweetness of the tomatoes. After a quick chill in the fridge, they’re ready to serve — making them a simple yet elegant appetizer for any occasion.

Ingredients

  1. 100g Red Cherry Tomato

  2. 45g Cream cheese

  3. 1 Gherkin (Baby cucumber pickles )

  4. 1/2 tsp Mustard

  5. 15g Garlic Butter

  6. 1/2 tsp Dried Parsley

  7. 1/2 tsp Paprika Powder

  8. 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder

  9. Salt and Pepper to taste (1/4 tsp each approx.)  

Preparation

Steps:


Step 1: Cut the tomato into two halves

Step 2: Deseed the tomato, use the knife to cut the stem, and then remove the seeds out easily

Step 3: Cut the pickle into strips(Julienne)

Step 4: Cut the strips into small cubes (Brunoise)

Step 5: Transfer the cream cheese to a mixing bowl

Step 6: Add 15g garlic butter

Step 7: Mix well until proper creamy consistency is reached!

Step 8: Add 1/2 tsp mustard sauce

Step 9: Add the diced gherkins

Step 10: Add the salt and pepper (as per taste or 1/4 tsp each)

Step 11: Add 1/2tsp of dried parsley

Step 12: Add 1/2 tsp of paprika and cumin powder

Step 13: Fill the center of the cherry tomato with the filling

Step 14: Once plated place in the fridge for about 5 mins to cool before serving

Step 15: Remove out of the refrigerator and season with pepper.
